Olympic Spirit

The Olympic athletes of the 2008 Beijing Games are those people who make things happen. Imagine waking up in the morning knowing your goal is four years away and practice you must! Discipline, healthy eating and exercising are the order for each day, whether you are 16 or 41 years old. Each athlete is a champion: win or lose.

Nastia Liukin, who won five Olympic medals including a gold for the All Around Gymnast, trains 36 hours a week. Surviving accidents and ankle surgery, she kept her eye on the prize, and became the most decorated gymnast in the world. Her Father/coach and her Mother plus Carly Patterson, 2004 All Around Olympic Gymnast and others at the WOGA gym are her circle of support. Freshman year at SMU has been put on hold for now. Understandably so, yet someday her goal is to be an international business woman or an actress.

  • What is your goal for one year from today?

  • When you wake up in the morning, what discipline is in place?

  • Do you have a positive, encouraging support team?

Call me for coaching on the steps necessary to be the best you can be.

“People can be divided into three groups:
Those who make things happen.
Those who watch things happen.
Those who wonder what happened.”
