Motivation
When clearing clutter, motivation comes in knowing the benefits of doing it, the pain of not doing it, the joy of having it done.
Do you have to have several hours to clear clutter? No, it can actually take minutes. I have set up a ‘Bye-Bye Box’ in the garage or laundry room. When I have a few moments during the day, I clean out one drawer (the junk drawer) or shelf (a bathroom cabinet) and put the clutter in the box. When a charity calls – Poof! My donation is ready and my house is clutter-free: double benefit.
Mail has a habit of piling up! I deal with it F-A-S-T:
File it
Act on it
Shred it
Today
The benefit of clearing the mail quickly is to know there are no loose ends; you have an efficient calendar and organized files.

What is the area most worrisome to you?

When will you take action to become free of that clutter?

How will it feel to have space in your house and renewed energy?
