Life Do-Over

Have you ever wanted to stop the merry-go-round of life, get off and start all over?
 
Motivated by my purpose to be present for my children and grandchildren and to locate in an attractive community, I recently created a “life do-over”. For me, this means clearing my slate of long time volunteer positions, de-cluttering my life, selling a home, buying another 500 miles away, recreating my everyday systems, emptying boxes and making friends.

It is true! When a person has clarity on what it is she truly wants and plants that thought firmly in her heart, then choices and opportunities often lead directly to creating that dream. My family and my coach knew about my thoughts and my dream. Last summer, I chose to spend two weeks in this new town to see if it was for meant for me and found out it WAS. I knew it was the right choice at the end of the two weeks. During the fall I cleared lots of clutter; in late winter I put the house on the market and when it sold in late Spring, (how fortunate in a down real estate market), I looked for a new home: one step at a time with purpose.
 
Sitting on the deck at home, watching the sunrise and listening to the geese on the lake, I know a dream has come true because I followed my heart. It is an awesome feeling!
